Netta has had an extensive career in line management which includes the positions of Manager Operations at Melbourne Water, General Manager Customer Operations at Yarra Valley Water and Corporate Services Director with Conservation and Natural Resources.

Netta has been a director of RACV since 1998. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University, Company Directors Diploma and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Currently a management consultant and mentor, she has a background in senior executive roles in the water industry. Netta was a council member of La Trobe University from 1998 through 2010 and chair of Yarra Valley Water's Customer Consultative Committee.

Col Barling

Col has worked in senior roles in the private and government sectors. He has wide experience in the fields of information technology, industrial relations, human resource management, counselling and telecommunications engineering.

As a registered psychologist he brings to the IT and HR disciplines an approach influenced by his organisational psychology and counselling experience and likes to think he is particularly skilled in managing change. He holds a BA and Graduate Diploma in Applied Psychology, Diploma of Counselling and is an accredited administrator of the MBTI. He is also a member of the International Association on Workplace Bullying and Harassment.

Col has participated in international software conferences and has published papers in the fields of computing and human resources management. Recent contracts include payroll implementations (DIIRD, RWH, CSL, MECWA, WCH, DHS, Cabrini), consultant with VHIA and Director HR Systems with SIAG where he was responsible for IT and HRIS consulting, web development, and the national HR call centre. He has particular interest in organisational research and has over 28 years association with software development using SIR and Lotus Notes. He sails an S&S 34 and is the secretary of the Yaringa Mariners Club.
